Recruitment Open Day

8th June 2021 The Ro Hotel, Windermere (10am – 7pm)

We have some remaining opportunities to join The Ro Hotel, Windermere ahead of our hotel re-opening this summer.

A little bit about The Ro. We are a new kind of hotel in the heart of the most popular tourist destination of the Lakes, Bowness-on Windermere.

But we are more than just a hotel, we are an all-day destination for tourists and locals, a place that you can go with friends for a coffee or lunch with the family after a trip to Beatrix Potter World.

A place that is unexpected in its design but familiar in its northern service.

Somewhere connected to the town, people, a hub or local culture and a showcase for its arts from yesterday, today and tomorrow.

For meetings and conferences, The Ro Hotel provides a flexible choice of five function spaces in a truly memorable setting.

Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

The scenic setting of Lake Windermere also makes The Ro Hotel the perfect place for spectacular weddings. We can tailor bespoke wedding for guests, from intimate celebrations and larger events for up to 200 guests, or anything in between.

What Roles Are Available?

We have already added 30 new employees to our large current team, but with so many areas within our operation, we are still able to offer roles with lots of different scope depending on where your interest and development needs lie.

An open day is planned for Tuesday 8th June from 10am – 4.30pm in The Ballroom, accessed via the main hotel reception. This will allow us to offer face to face interviews with one of our recruiting managers, who will assess your suitability for any of our remaining positions.

As we still have covid 19 protocols in place to keep everyone safe, after you apply you will be allocated an appointment time so that we can manage the flow of candidates more easily. Please come with a facemask and be prepared for Covid-19 safety checks.

Food / Beverage And Kitchen

Lacu Restaurant, The Ro Bar, Room Service, and Meeting and Events, Food and Beverage control. Chef De Partie, Commis Chef, Kitchen Porters, F&B Supervisors, Assistances and flexible team members.

Guest Services Assistant

Porters, and Guest Relations Assistants.

Housekeeping

Rooms, linen room and public areas.

Public Areas

Whole hotel.
